Beautiful interior design and classy ambiance. Complimentary bread is soft and buttery. The grilled octopus is probably the best I've had recently in town, very juicy and tender. The ribeye and lamb chop are both divine and enjoyable to the taste. Foie gras and bone marrow are rich flavored but maybe too much without other refreshing sides or drinks. The only downside is the salad and the miso sea bass. Salad is a bit too heavy in the vinegar and the sauce on the sea bass is slightly too greasy and sweet. And our waitress was not too attentive. Barely saw her.

We dined at Jean Georges in the Aria casino the other day and we've been to a lot of nice steak houses in Las Vegas. If you're looking for an old time steak house this is not the place. Jean George is a very sexy romantic restaurant. We started out with the sushi sampler which was so good. The tuna just melts in your mouth. My husband ate the salmon ones and he enjoyed them too. They weren't fishy at all. For dinner I had the veal and couldn't believe the portion size, but I wasn't mad at it. The breading on the veal had a nice crispy crunch. My husband had the broccoli soup. I know people who reviewed it in the past and didn't care for it, but this is an elevated soup. It's not for everyone. He also had the beef capriccio which was served over potato croquets. The service was really good, but I would say go later at night for more of a vibe. We went when they opened and it was pretty dead.

I don't write reviews often, and they are generally lackluster or negative if I do. It is nice to write one that's positive because so much with "everything" in the world is negative nowadays. I'm 58 and I had family members visiting from out of town (I'm a local). As they were staying on the strip I chose a Restaurant that was close to them to meet up. Normally, I wouldn't equate "French" and "Steakhouse" to be in the same sentence. I've had my fair share of Premium Steak Experiences over the years. So we decided to give it a go. We checked in right at opening and I was expecting the half awake Restaurant one generally experiences. Not the case. The Maitre d was ready for us and passed us on to be seated in seconds. I will say the ambience of this restaurant was spot on. I loved the circular cozy bar at the entrance that blended seamlessly into the Restaurant. The lighting was Old Vegas; dark and demure - yet still enough light to comfortably read the menu. A must for people my age (ha). The decor was something I didn't expect. Remember "French," so the well done rustic furniture capstoned by the cattle ear-tag chandeliers was surprising and very welcome to say the least. Everything was comfortable and welcoming - this was a Steakhouse. Well, if you are this far in the review you likely surmised that the food and service were capstone as well. You'd be right in that conclusion. Our Waiter, Sommelier, Servers and Attendants were out of this world fantastic. I had mentioned to my wife we brought family to dinner and gained an extended family at the end of the evening. Everyone did an exceptional job of taking care of us. When the latter happens good food becomes great. But our food was not good or great, it was extraordinary. Who am I to assume the kings of gastronomic flare (the French) could conquer American Family Size "sides" and the near and dear to our hearts, American Beef? Well they did and then some. I forgot to mention my family visitors are Iowans and have been born and raised on corn-fed beef, as I. We would know. The meat courses were extraordinary. One of the family' members wanted to try a Wagyu cut to see what all the "hype" was about. He couldn't stop talking about it being the best steak he has ever eaten - huge praise for an Iowa boy for sure. P.S. the Restaurant places a certified medallion sculpture on your table when you order one of these. Needless to say, plenty of selfies were taken with it (ha). Desert was fabulous. I need say no more on it. American and French classics fused together. Glorious! Thanks Team Jean Georges for a wonderful and memorable evening!

This place doesn't disappoint. Great atmosphere, friendly servers, and outstanding food. This is one of the restaurants that we keep on our list whenever we go to Vegas. Let's start with their buttery and soft bread that they serve. It's really hard to eat just 1 piece. My ultimate dish there is the Japanese Wagyu Carpaccio. There's 4 servings per order and I can easily eat the whole plate on my own. It's basically thinly sliced wagyu beef on top cheese fritters with creamy truffle aoli.....flavor explosion in your mouth! Their crab cake is good and so is their steak. You have to save room for their chocolate dessert. I cant remember the name but it was served in big round white chocolate sphere and the server will pour hot chocolate to open the sphere.
